Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs suffered a right wrist sprain in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets and will not return, the team announced.
Suggs finished with 8 points in 13 minutes.
The Magic have been plagued by injuries this year; stars Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner are out with oblique injuries, while forward Moritz Wagner is out for the season with an ACL tear.
Sophomore guard Anthony Black also missed Sunday’s game with a back injury.
Suggs, 23, is averaging a career-high 16.8 points per game in his third NBA season. He signed a five-year, $150.5 million extension with Orlando this summer.
