LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James will miss Saturday night’s game against the Sacramento Kings due to an illness, the team announced.
It will be James’ third missed game of the season. Gabe Vincent will start in place of James, according to Lakers coach JJ Redick.
James missed practice Friday due to the illness and was listed as questionable for the game in Sacramento.
LA will look to complete its season sweep of Sacramento after already winning its first three games.
The Kings are coached by Doug Christie in his first game as interim coach since Mike Brown was fired on Friday.
